Excellent presentations at our breakfast last month about the NHS development plans for our beautiful Bay.
Our thanks to Chris Knights and Joanna Watson from Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust for sharing the plans for the £495m investment in both infrastructure and digital improvements over the next 8 years. The funding should bring in significant opportunities for local suppliers bringing great boost to the local economy.
Since Chris’s presentation last year, as well as the extensive business case modelling, there has been £35m investment with the Acute Medical Unit opening this month and the Endoscopy Unit and new Theatres due to open in Nov 2023.
